April is National Fair Housing month and in an effort to support and educate the Lafayette community and it’s surrounding areas, Bradley, Moreau, Howay & Stagg hosted several classes on Fair Housing. Attorneys Brandon Bradley and Clare Allen went to various real estate agent offices throughout the month to bring awareness to and answer any questions real estate agents may have about Fair Housing Laws. In addition to educating the community, members of the firm volunteered their time to assist Lafayette Habitat for Humanity in building the frame on one of the home projects. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit who builds homes for those who otherwise would not be able to afford such accommodations. The families occupying the homes purchase the home at cost on a 30 yr loan and must volunteer many hours before being able to move into the home.
